According to Korean media, NCsoft's new MMORPG Blade & Soul has been found to have private servers and the players are mainly from China, which has caused widespread discontent and concerns among South Korean players. NCsoft expressed that these private servers are bringing them great pressure and they will take corresponding measures as soon as possible.
Reportedly, Blade & Soul's private servers were opened during the game's 2nd CBT in August. Currently, the Chinese version on these private servers has completed 50%. Private servers explain in detail how to download client, register to become a member, how to install the game as well as how to solve IP problems.
Players can register to be a member for free, but they will be informed that the game server is located overseas, so they may have a lag problem or fail to log into the game.
"Concerning the private servers, we will take corresponding measures and deal with the issue seriously based on our investigation results," said an official at NCsoft.
